The Programs & Education Committee develops educational programs and activities about sustainability and related topics, and is at the forefront of change for the Chapter by educating industry professionals and the public through live presentations, online courses, and study groups. The Committee is also charged with the task of hosting a Biennial Conference held typically in the fall, which draws presenters and attendees from all over the region. The Conference provides numerous educational opportunities for attendees that are generally not held in Wyoming, and are typically expensive due to travel and registration costs. The purpose in hosting this Conference, as well as the other programs developed by this Committee, is to bring educational opportunities to Wyoming residents that are pertinent to the needs of our region, and affordable for anyone who wants to learn more about sustainability. If your interest is in making measurable change in the built environment in Wyoming, the Programs & Education Committee is a great place to begin.
