The Communications Committee creates informative, compelling internal and external communication campaigns that educate, motivate, and activate green building community members through the use of a wide variety of resources. Communication using mainstream social media applications is a major part of the work performed within this group, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, WordPress, QR Codes, and others. This committee also handles online meeting facilitation, live video broadcasting of various educational programs and events, and communication of our mission to outside media sources such as newspaper, radio, and magazine. The Communications Committee creates a rewarding environment in which committee members can learn, practice, and teach new technologies and methods of communicating at all levels which include our local community, statewide, and the national and international audiences focused on green building issues.
